The 26-0083 Form Explained

This section describes the form 26-0083 Application for Endorsement of a Rating to be submitted with all initial rating applications. When a pilot fails to qualify for a rating, he/she shall present a letter of recommendation at his/her next attempt. The section "Recommendation" of the 26-0083 form may serve as a letter of recommendation. Designated Flight Test Examiners (IFR) should refer to Procedures for Instrument Pilot Examiners Quebec Region regarding the admission of candidates to flight tests and other administrative issues, and to the Flight Test Guide - Instrument Rating (TP9939E) available from Transport Canada.
